Pacton Trailers introduces the TPL.339.C.-B. “X-Light”

15 September 2016

At the IAA 2016, held from 22 to 29 September in Hanover, Pacton will introduce a further development of the light version of the crane semi-trailer introduced in 2015 to the public.

For Pacton, it remains an absolute priority that the light weight does not come at the expense of hardiness and usability. In this model, the crane semi-trailer also has a crane edge profile of 20 mm. After the IAA, an extensive practical testing programme will begin. At the same time, tests will also be completed for load securing certifications.

By using thermoplastic composite materials for the sides and the floor, the TPL.339.C.-B “X-Light”, which will be showcased at IAA, weighs in at 6,860 kg—660 kg lighter than the normal lightweight version.

This semi-trailer, suitable for a 16 tm crane, has SAF Intra CD Integral 9 t disc brake axles (the back to axles being rail guided), aluminium rims, lubrication, axle lift connectors, a tool box, etc. Complete and sturdy, yet light.
