2-axle Pacton trailer with forklift adaptation for transport of building materials

Pacton delivered a 2-axle curtainside trailer, lorry mounted forklift model this week to Sleiderink Wood and Building Materials, situated in Denekamp.  The relatively short trailer (less than 10 meters in length), proves to be  highly effective in the transport of building supplies.  The compact dimensions, partnered with steered last axle, make the TBD.235.T-EKP1 perfectly employable to deliver building supplies to tight building sites and residential areas.

The back of the trailer is closed and equipped with a hook-on forklift.  To speed up the loading and unloading processes, the side curtains are provided with one of the quick release systems of Pacton consisting of 2 quick release handles and 2 curtain tensioning spools with springless ratchet devices.  By incorporating this system, it is no longer necessary to undo all of the cargo retention straps individually.

The trailer is supplied with 6 stake pockets in the middle and 3 x 12 pieces of 2.5 Ton lashing rings of which one row is set in the v-groove running in the centre of the trailer.  The 10-tons BPW drum brakes together with the double mount tyres, ensure a total of 35 ton GVW, resulting in ample room to carry sufficient amounts of supplies.
